Shore Temple 

The Shore Temple in Mahabalipuram is one of the earliest structural stone temples in India, built during the reign of the Pallava king Rajasimha in the early 8th century CE. Standing gracefully on the shores of the Bay of Bengal, it is part of the UNESCO-recognized “Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram.” The temple complex features shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, showcasing the evolution of Dravidian temple architecture. Its iconic silhouette against the rising sun, combined with the sound of waves, creates one of the most enchanting and photographed scen
