Kodaikanal Lake
Kodaikanal Lake, also known as the Star-shaped Lake, is the centerpiece of Kodaikanal town in Tamil Nadu. Constructed in 1863 by Sir Vere Henry Levinge, the man-made freshwater lake spans approximately 60 acres and is surrounded by scenic walking paths, lush greenery, and hills. The lake is a hub for recreational activities and a focal point for both locals and tourists, symbolizing the town’s natural beauty and serenity.
